This plain-language notice explains what information this website collects, where it goes, and what it is used for. This website is operated for Fraim, Cawley & Company. Micah Fraim remains the personal author of the articles and other content identified under his name.
Information you choose to provide
The website asks for information only when you submit one of its forms. Depending on the form, that can include:
- your name and email address when you send an inquiry;
- your email address when you request newsletter updates;
- your name and email address when you request an Ask The CPA registration; and
- your first name, last name, and email address when you request the Augusta Rule checklist.
An inquiry may also include the message you type into the inquiry field. Please do not include information that you do not want to submit through a website form.
How submitted information is used
Hosting and external service providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details, and request logs to deliver and protect their services. To reduce repeated form submissions, this website also temporarily keeps a hashed version of the submitted email address with a request count. This abuse-prevention record is held in memory for a short period and is not used for advertising.
Submitted information is used to process the request you made, respond to an inquiry, manage newsletter or session-registration requests, and provide the resource you requested. A successful submission is a request being received; it does not promise that an email, session, consultation, or other follow-up will occur.
Service providers and external websites
The forms send submitted contact information to ActiveCampaign, which is used to manage contacts, lists, tags, and related communications. ActiveCampaign may process that information on behalf of the site under its own terms and privacy documentation.
Links and buttons that open Calendly take you to Calendly to request a meeting. Information entered on Calendly is handled by Calendly under its own terms and privacy documentation. Opening Calendly does not itself mean that a meeting has been scheduled.
This site loads the Manrope and Playfair Display typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser makes a request to Google to load those fonts, and Google may receive technical information associated with that request. The site does not use Google Analytics or Fathom analytics.
Some pages embed YouTube videos. When an embedded video is loaded, YouTube may receive information according to Google's and YouTube's own policies. Other links on the site may also take you to websites that have their own privacy practices.
Browser storage
After the checklist form is submitted, this site may use your first name in temporary browser session storage so the next page can greet you. That value is not a substitute for the form submission and is cleared by the browser when the session storage is cleared.
Your choices
You can choose not to submit a form. Newsletter and similar communications may include an unsubscribe option. You can also use your browser's controls to limit external requests and clear browser storage. If you follow an external link, review that provider's privacy choices there.
To make a privacy request about information submitted through this website, use the contact form on the home page. Please identify the request as a privacy request and do not include sensitive information in the form.
